Link Inspector is built to never need your trust. Inspecting and cleaning links happens entirely on your device, and we don't run any servers that see what you inspect.
What we collect
Nothing. Link Inspector has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Links you inspect
When you share or paste a link, all parameter inspection — breaking the URL into its parts, identifying trackers, and rebuilding a clean link — runs locally on your iPhone or iPad. The link is never sent to us or to any analysis server.
The optional Plus domain check
Link Inspector Plus can follow a link to its real destination to report plain-language signals about the domain (its age, registrar, DNS, and TLS certificate). When you run this check:
The requests go directly from your device to the domain you're inspecting — never through our servers. We don't see, log, or store the link, the destination, or the result. Nothing from these checks leaves your device except the connection to the domain itself, exactly as your browser would make it.
Because the check connects to the target domain, that domain's own servers may see your request and IP address — the same as if you opened the link in a browser. The app makes this clear before you run a check.
Purchases
Link Inspector Plus is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details or any personal information from the transaction. Purchase validation is managed by Apple on your device.
Data storage
Any settings or history stay on your device and are managed by you. Deleting the app removes everything. We hold no copy because we never received one.
Children
Link Inspector does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date above.
