Vendémiaire collects no personal data. Every calculation happens entirely on your device: the Republican date, the rustic day, the decimal clock.
What we collect
Nothing. Vendémiaire has no server, no account, and no analytics. There is no advertising and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
Location
You can set the clock to local solar, zone, or Paris mean time. If you choose local solar time, the app may use your device location to work out the sun where you stand.
Any location is used only on your device to compute local solar time. It is never sent to us or to any server, and it is never stored beyond the calculation. You can use Vendémiaire without location access. It falls back to zone or Paris mean time.
Your Republican name & birthday
If you register a birthday to see it as a Republican day, that date is stored on your device and shared only with your own widgets and Apple Watch through a private App Group. It is never sent to us or to any server.
Purchases
The Citoyen unlock is a single non-consumable purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never receive your payment details or any personal information, only the anonymous fact that the app is unlocked, verified on your device.
Third-party services
Vendémiaire uses no third-party services that collect data, and contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. Anything handled by the App Store is handled by Apple.
Data storage
Any settings stay on your device and are managed by you. Deleting the app removes everything. We hold no copy, because we never received one.
Children
Vendémiaire collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date above.
